Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP)
Alberta — PNP guide
Stream overview and official links. Criteria and intake status change—verify on the government site before you apply.
Alberta’s AAIP includes worker streams (many require an Alberta employer and eligible work authorization where stated), Express Entry–aligned selection for some pathways, and entrepreneur/farm streams. Alberta publishes stream-specific checklists, pause notices, and processing updates on Alberta.ca.
Streams and categories (summary)
Names and groupings follow public provincial materials. Sub-rules (NOC TEER, wages, language, job-offer format, EOI scoring) are in the official program guides—not reproduced here.

- Alberta Express Entry Stream — Alberta may select candidates from the federal Express Entry pool; dedicated pathways (e.g. healthcare, technology, law enforcement) have appeared in provincial materials—confirm current pathways on Alberta.ca.
- Dedicated Healthcare Pathway — healthcare worker route under AAIP (verify current eligibility and application method on the official healthcare pathway page).
- Rural Renewal Stream — community-endorsed pathway for designated rural communities; endorsement and employer rules apply.
