Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about how we work, common programs, and what to expect. For case-specific advice, book a consultation or contact us.

An RCIC is licensed by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) to provide Canadian immigration advice and representation for a fee. It is not the same as an immigration lawyer, but RCICs are authorized to prepare and submit applications and communicate with IRCC on your behalf within immigration scope.

No ethical representative can guarantee an outcome. Decisions are made by immigration officers based on law, policy, and your evidence. We focus on accurate forms, strong documentation, and realistic strategy to improve your chances and avoid preventable mistakes.

Consultations are by appointment. You can book online and, where applicable, complete payment through our booking flow. Depending on your situation, we may focus on explaining which programs or pathways could apply to you, review eligibility at a high level, or work through deeper strategy and next steps when you are ready. The goal is always practical guidance—not a one-size-fits-all script.

Yes. Many clients are overseas. We coordinate by email and phone and prepare applications you can submit according to IRCC instructions. Some steps (such as biometrics) must be completed in person at designated locations.

Express Entry is the federal system for managing applications for several economic immigration programs. Candidates create a profile, receive a CRS score, and may be invited to apply for permanent residence. We help with strategy, provincial alignment, and complete applications after an invitation when you retain us for that stage.

Provinces and territories run programs that nominate candidates for permanent residence based on local labour market or other criteria. Some PNPs are aligned with Express Entry. We help identify streams that fit your profile and keep provincial and federal submissions consistent.

Yes. We support employers and workers on LMIA strategy and work permit applications within immigration scope. We do not practise employment law; we coordinate document expectations and timelines with your HR team and the candidate.

Processing times change and depend on the program, your country of residence, and IRCC volumes. We reference current published processing ranges and explain what “waiting” usually looks like for your stream—we do not promise fixed dates.

It varies by program. Generally you will need identity documents, proof of relationships (for family files), language tests where required, education assessments, employment records, and police certificates when applicable. We give you a tailored checklist after we understand your case.

Yes. We assist with sponsorship eligibility, forms, relationship evidence, and preparing a coherent file for both sponsor and applicant sides, subject to the facts of your situation.

Fees depend on the complexity of your matter and the services you request. Consultation and representation fees are discussed before you commit. Government fees are paid directly to IRCC or provincial authorities and are separate from professional fees.
